Corrections Policy

Accuracy matters more than preserving an earlier version of an article. Readers can report a potential factual error, broken source, or unclear claim by writing to [email protected].

How reports are reviewed

We review the article, the cited material, and any credible supporting information provided. When a material factual issue is confirmed, we correct the article as soon as reasonably practical.

How corrections appear

Material corrections are identified in the article with a correction note or a meaningful updated date. Minor changes for grammar, formatting, readability, or link maintenance may be made without a separate correction notice when they do not alter the substance of the article.

Editorial independence

Corrections improve the record; they do not remove accurate context or rewrite an article to hide an earlier position. The Editorial Policy explains the standards used before publication.
